HERBERT SIDNEY PERCY 1863 - 1962.

    Exhibited once at the Royal Academy, eight times with the Society of British Artists and often with th Royal Society of Painters in Oil and Watercolours.

   This watercolour originally came from the estate of Herbert Sidney Percy's daughter Sidney Delores Bunce. He called these small watercolours "pot boilers" which enebled him to earn a steady living to "keep the pot boiling on the kitchen stove and food on the table" inbetween painting his portrait commissions.
